Building Strong Brains

Crossroads United Way is proud to serve as an organizational sponsor of the Building Strong Brains Coalition, a community-wide initiative focused on ensuring that every child in Elkhart County enters kindergarten ready to thrive. This collaborative effort brings together partners from education, health care, nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and the business community to strengthen the early childhood system for children ages 0–6 and the families who support them.

Through coordinated strategies and shared resources, the coalition works to improve maternal and child health, expand access to high-quality early learning, and connect families with the support they need during the critical early years of development.

By aligning community efforts and focusing on long-term systems change, Building Strong Brains is helping create a future where every child in our community has the foundation to learn, grow, and succeed.
