Michele Marlow

Michele joined Crossroads United Way in May 2022, bringing with her over 35 years of administrative support experience and a long-standing commitment to serving others. Prior to joining Crossroads, she spent more than 20 years in education, working with students from junior high through college, where she developed a deep understanding of community needs and the importance of empowering others.

Jill Yoder

Jill Yoder serves as the Director of Community Engagement and Volunteerism at Crossroads United Way. She holds her Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA) and has been part of the Crossroads team since 2021.

Jennifer Haney

Jennifer joined Crossroads United Way in the spring of 2021 after nearly 18 years with Goshen Health. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from Purdue University (Boiler Up!) in Dietetics and Nutrition, Fitness, and Health.

Julie Poertner

Julie joined our team in October 2021. She was born and raised in Elkhart, graduating from Concord High School. She attended Ball State University and earned a B.S. in Social Work and is a licensed social worker in the State of Indiana.

Natalie Buroker

Natalie Buroker serves as Vice President at Crossroads United Way, where she leads fundraising, early childhood and systems level impact efforts (like ALICE) across a four-county region in northern Indiana.  With more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership, Natalie has held key roles at the local, state, and national levels. She is a United Way Worldwide Next Gen Fellow and serves on the Interra Cares Foundation and Elkhart Noon Rotary Club Board of Directors, as well as regional initiatives such as Thrive by Five and Building Strong Brains.
